Oregon now has an ITKAN chapter of its own. ITKAN–MAS Portland ran its first-ever session this month, and by every account it was a strong start: turnout was high, the kids came in sharper than anyone expected, and the coaching team handled a brand-new group with a steadiness that usually takes seasons to build.

It's an early sign, but a telling one, for an approach ITKAN has leaned on since its first chapter in Texas: parents aren't just dropping kids off, they're woven into how a chapter actually takes shape. That kind of buy-in doesn't happen overnight, it's earned session by session, family by family. Portland's launch is proof the formula travels well beyond where it started.

There's a full season ahead for the new chapter to grow into, but the foundation is already set. ITKAN welcomes Portland, Oregon as its newest chapter, continuing to build the soft power of the Ummah one community at a time.
